Soft Tissue Release therapy gets you upright and moving, with its precise combination of diagnosis and treatment. This precise, STR treatment evaluates the body’s muscles and tense spots to uncover scar tissue that’s formed from acute trauma or long-term overuse. Every STR therapy session is tailored to you, as we free compressed nerves, improve oxygen flow, relieve pain, and restore movement. We find unbeatable results with Soft Tissue Release for sciatica, tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, and hamstring tears.

What to expect
We start with a thorough rundown of your health history. During the exam, we perform a hands-on assessment of the injured tissue. During treatment, we create tissue tension and stretch the scar tissue, progressively deepening the stretch to break up any adhesions. The injured area receives 3–5 passes to revitalize circulation and movement.
Want to know more?
Soft Tissue Release is a therapy used to treat muscles, nerves, blood vessels, and connective tissue that become injured from an acute, cumulative, or pressure injury. This treatment was developed by Athletic Therapist and Registered Kinesiologist Jim Bilotta. His technique is based on a system of specific movements and massage methods designed to eliminate pain and increase mobility.
How is it effective?
This treatment has been very effective with many different types of injuries. Many patients find relief from scar tissue pain in as little as 4-6 sessions
Why does it work?
The goal of this treatment is to restore normal mobility and motion between muscle tissue and nerves. This treatment also helps release any entrapped nerves or blood vessels. As scar tissue builds up, it can cause adhesions or fibrosis to build up in soft tissue. This treatment works by eliminating scar tissue build-up from within soft tissue structure. Besides eliminating scar tissue, this treatment reduces the stress placed on joints and nerves.
